This year has soon come to an end and a new one is about to begin…. This got me thinking about the real meaning of Christmas. (Not Santa or the gifts), but on Christ himself! John 3:16, For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
It is easy to forget with all the glitter and bling and hectic shopping, that the only reason we have this holiday is because God loves us so much that he gave us His only son. That is a huge gift to be given. And it is given freely to anyone that wants to get it.
It is a mesige of hope to the world that anyone that believes will get eternal life.
God bless!

This is something that has been on my mind on and off for a few years now. The judging of others, even if we do not even know them. We look at a person and make up our mind about that person, just after what we see on the outside. But we never know who the person really is. Yes I know you say: “Not me! I do not care what people look like.” But if a person with tattoos, long hair or spikes would pass you by you would think to yourself that the person should clean up and get a job. (Would it not be funny if said person would that very Sunday stand in the pulpit of your church and that said person was to be the new pastor!) 1 Samuel 16:7….for the Lord seeth not as man seeth. For man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lord looketh on the heart.”
With this I like to say that we are fast in judging others after what people look like. God however see what is on the inside and cares about that. We need to stop going after looks and rather go by what the person really is all about. If we are to show people the way to God, judging others are not the way. John 8:15 You judge according to the flesh; I judge no one.
If we are to help people o come to the Lord, we need to show love and care towards the ones we are trying to reach. Nobody will come if we judge them by the looks and their past. (I wonder where Paul would have been if the other apostles and followers had not forgiven him and given him a second chance.) So instead of judging, show compassion and care. Who knows what can happen. Anything is possible when you put down the judging and let God lead with love and grace.
God bless!
