This day is one of those days I wish I could remember that God has everything in control. This morning could have started better and my mood was more dark with bursts of thunderbolts. This is in short what happened: the school cab was late. (Not very unusual). But the thing that started to get me angry was the treatment I got when I called the cab company and they three times excused themselves with the line: Sorry I cannot hear you, hello! Hello! That was after I had stated my name and my reason to call them. When the cab finally came, it did not wait the time it should, so I managed to call and this time actually get to talk so someone that called the cab back. Now to make matters worse, the cab took its sweet time to get back, so when it finally got there for the pick up school have already started. This got my morning all off and I had to get my hair done at work.<\/p>\n
All this got me thinking of the vers in Psalm 46:10 Be still and know that I am God. I will have to practise this one a bit more it seems. To actually in the mids of turmoil seek the Lord and rest in His peace. I will take this as a lesson and learn it. I will do my best to cast my burden on Him, just as Jesus said in Psalm 55:22,\u00a0Cast your burden on the\u00a0Lord<\/span>,<\/span> And also in\u00a0Matthew 11:28-29,\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>28\u00a0<\/sup>Come to Me, all\u00a0you<\/i>\u00a0who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.<\/span><\/span>29\u00a0<\/sup>Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n With these verses I hope and pray that I can stop getting so angry and loose energy over something I cannot control. Not that I will stop calling, or saying anything, just that it will be done differently in the future. I have started to see these verses in a different light after today. Praise God! Because when you have turmoil and hardship it will eat on you and drain your energy, but if you at the mids of it look for the Lord and pray you will let him take the steering wheel. By being still and know that He is God you will automatically cast your burden upon him. When you have done that you will feel more at peace with yourself and with the world. You are still you and you still have to deal with things, but it becomes easier as you can feel God moving in your life.
